?What can I expect on my first visit?

When we first schedule a time to meet, we ask that you complete some initial intake forms. These forms help us to better understand your current sleep difficulties and goals for treatment. We also use validated questionnaires to help evaluate treatment progress, so we ask that you complete these at the beginning of our treatment and periodically throughout treatment.

? How Does it Work?

The treatment focuses on exploring the connection between the way you think, the things you do, and how you sleep. During treatment, I will help you to identify thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are contributing to the symptoms of insomnia. Our treatment is multicomponent because it combines several different approaches.

?How long do sessions last?

Treatment often takes from 4-8 sessions, although the length may differ depending on a person’s needs. Sessions include cognitive, behavioral, educational and relaxation components. Sessions are generally under 40 minutes, though longer sessions can be arranged with prior notice.

? What are your fees?

My fees are commensurate with other BSM providers. Please contact me to discuss specific rates. Payment is collected at the start of session/workshop and can be made via paypal, UPI.

? I live far from your clinic. Do you offer sessions via phone or video?

I recognize that most individuals do not have access to providers in their area who specialize in treatment for sleep disorders. Your location should not stop you from receiving care. I offer video sessions in lieu of face-to-face treatment.

? What do I have to do in sessions?

We will work together to explore and unpack the problems you are experiencing and expand on your strengths that can help you accomplish your treatment goals. Your active participation and dedication will be crucial to your success.
